Residents of Anacostia are invited to attend a meeting at UPO to discuss community issues. This meeting, Andy Shallal, owner of Busboys & Poets will be a presenter.
If you are a father, grandfather, stepfather, uncle, cousin or any make who takes care of, or has concerns about children with special health care needs. Child care and dinner will be provided. The District Department of the Environment (DDOE) is working for a cleaner Anacostia River. The Sustainable DC Plan contends that the Anacostia River will once again be a fishable and swimmable community resource. Come out to learn more and provide your input.
