More Fun in Ward 8!!!

I apologize for not communicating with my neighbors. July is not a good month for writing a blog. There are way too many distractions during the summer months. I promise to try harder in the upcoming months!!!

This weekend Historic Anacostia residents have an opportunity to have more fun in our community. Kick-off events for the Arts and Humanities Festival will begin on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at St. Elizabeth’s East, 1100 block of Alabama Avenue, SE at 11am-4pm. The free event will be filled with live performances, discussions and workshops, storybook readings (yup, including me) and interviews with lots of important people (yup, including you)!
